CTI's Director of Products, John Goodson, was awarded the prestigious AFCEA International 40 Under 40 Award this past week. Recipients were honored for for their outstanding contributions to their organization or client through the use of IT or innovation in a STEM field.
Mr. John Goodson came to CTI just over three years ago and has made a tremendous impact on our company, our customers, and our user community. John is a former Naval Special Warfare (NSW) SIGINT/EW Special Reconnaissance Team(SRT) specialist and came to CTI after a short tenure at the Department of Energy's (DOE's) Special Technology Lab (STL). John has rapidly moved through the ranks of CTI bringing his unique energy, vision, and "weaponized" message to our team. John is a staunch advocate of "Government Open" platforms and solutions and almost single-handedly created the "RapidX" execution model in use by Special Operations Command (SOCOM) today. This combination of "Open"and "Rapid" has truly changed the expectations of the users and operators and put the acquisition community on notice that there are better ways for creating software-based capabilities for the Warfighter. John is a member of"The Honor Foundation" and has helped a number of transitioning military personnel find a permanent home in industry with CTI and other supporting companies and organizations.
