TAK Ecosystem Integration

We offer expert guidance on hardware selection and TAK variant recommendations to match mission requirements. Our services include the setup and optimization of TAK Server for seamless data sharing and consulting on communication infrastructure to support robust and reliable operations.

TAK Training

Our training courses cover every component of the TAK ecosystem (e.g., ATAK, iTAK, TAK Server, TAKX, WinTAK, etc.) providing hands-on learning tailored to operational needs. Programs range from foundational navigation to advanced mission capabilities, ensuring users gain the appropriate knowledge for their mission requirements.

Mission-Specific Support

Our training is tailored to operational and mission-specific requirements, with recommendations for plugins and plugin packaging to ensure mission readiness. Operational training is led by Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with extensive mission experience.

Abran

Abran possesses an impressive career spanning 16 years in information security and tactical communications. Abran's expertise spans multiple domains, including network technologies and a wide array of communication systems, including Shipboard Navigation, Space-Based Communications, and Covert Communications. Prior to joining CTI, Abran’s career began with his active-duty service in the US Navy, where he served as the Naval Special Warfare Tactical Communications Supervisor. In this role, he played a pivotal part in instructing, operating, and supervising Tactical Communications, directly contributing to advanced C4ISR systems' operation in combat scenarios for Naval Special Operations and Combined Joint Special Operations Forces globally.

AJ

AJ is a 30-year fire service professional whose career has spanned federal, state, and local government. He started his career with the U.S. Forest Service in 1994 serving 5 seasons with the El Cariso Hotshots before transitioning to the California Department of Forestry & Fire Protection. AJ has served the Corona Fire Dept (CA) from 2005-2025, achieving the rank of Fire Captain. For over a decade he has deployed with Incident Management Teams overseeing the “Situation Unit” whose purpose is to gather all aspects of intelligence on an incident and share that information across multiple domains to help first responders in their decision-making process. AJ has a passion for geospatial and mobile technologies and was a part of the California FIRESCOPE multi-agency committee on Emerging Information Technology.

Hops

Hops is a highly accomplished 20-year Air Force Combat Controller veteran, renowned for his distinguished service and recognition as a U.S. Air Force Weapons School "Patch" alumni. His impressive military career culminated with his role as a Program Manager at 24 SOW/720th STG, where he spearheaded the modernization efforts to enhance the battlefield capabilities of Special Warfare Operators. Today, Hops leads CTI's Evaluate Portfolio and is heavily involved with CTI's Solutions Support Department (SSD), overseeing a team of highly skilled Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across various domains, including SIGINT, INTEL, C5ISR, Tactical Datalink, and Tactical Operations. Hops’ proficiency extends to specialized domains, including ATAK, Digitally Aided Close Air Support, and Tactical Radios.

Working with Abran and the rest of CTI’s team has been amazing. You can tell these guys are former operators when they’re working with you in the middle of the night. They really feel more like teammates than outside support.

In September 2024, Hurricane Helene barreled toward the Southeastern United States, threatening millions with devastating winds, flooding, and power outages. In the face of this urgent crisis, CTI sprang into action, offering critical support to first responders and public safety agencies through rapid deployment of cutting-edge technology.

To enhance situational awareness and interagency collaboration, CTI offered free access to its secure GovCloud TAK (Tactical Awareness Kit) Server, providing responders with a robust, interoperable common operating picture, enabling real-time sharing of critical information and seamless coordination across agencies and jurisdictions.

Standing behind these solutions was CTI’s elite team of former special operations and public safety professionals, bringing unparalleled expertise to ensure operational success.
